Aztec Empire is the official Aztec sports fan club. The Empire is a campus spirit organization whose mission is to serve the SDSU community by excelling in spectator participation at all Aztec Athletic events. Aztec Empire began with the belief that the only way to truly build school spirit among students was to create an organization for students who want to have fun, meet new people and really know what it is to be a SDSU Aztec.
Aztec Empire is a student run organization with a board of directors that plan and coordinate all Empire events such as tailgates and pre-game pep rallies. The Aztec Empire Board of Directors is made up exclusively of SDSU students who are dedicated to promoting Aztec pride and SDSU spirit.
Aztec Empire also has unique working partnerships with University resources like Athletics and Aztec Shops. These partnerships enable Aztec Empire members to enjoy special benefits at athletic games and at on-campus events.
